Rash-Yatra

This festival is celebrated to remember the love story of Lord Krishna and his divine beloved Radha. Since ages this festival has been celebrated by Kings of this region and thus still now this festival is celebrated with pomp and grandeur in North Bengal. The Rash Mela was previously famous among the royal families only but now it has taken a form of common celebration.
